Dive into cold water and swim out to a buoy while fending other swimmers. Your tired and it's 4 am already. Your schedule will allow you this time to complete another set speed drills. It's late and no one cares what you are sacrificing to meet your goals.
Do you have what it takes to deliver the results you asked of yourself. Is it still worth it? Is the fire that motivated and inspired you to sign up for the race still warm and alive?
Can you still give a victory cry as your legs and arms ache from the exertion? Bend your body to obey your will, crumple the paper of rejection and use it to fuel your success?
YES! ... YES! Ride out and meet them...
