Building a bike for triathlon

I have decided to build a bike myself to use for upcoming races this year. My first task is to get fitted for a bike so I can tell what size frame I will need.

I was talking to Vince about where to look online for components and Steve was interested in doing the same. We are going to visit Golsan Cycles to get fitted for a bike.

My biggest concern is have a bike strong enough to support my weight and height.

Don't know how into biking you are yet, but my standard online bike stores are: performancebike.com, nashbar.com, coloradocyclist.com, competitivecyclist.com (high-end stuff), and lickbike.com (very good price matching), although you've probably found all the above and then some via google. Best wishes with your triathlon challenge, as I'm a (former) triathlete myself. :-)
