I didn't workout at all this weekend. The Marathon Spector looms as my time to get in those long runs is getting short.
Coach told me to run in zone 2 during a race. Today I ran on the treadmill set at incline 2 for 1 hour while staying in Zone 2. I logged 6.09 miles. I calculated that to be 9.57 min/mile. If I maintained that pace I would finish a marathon in 4 hours 18 minutes.
I swam over a mile or almost 2000 meters this morning. I estimated my swim time for 2.4 miles to be 93 minutes in a pool. I need to test that theory when I have 2 hours to swim. It seemed nearly impossible at one time but it now feels within reach.
Cycling is my last big unknown. I still don't have a bike and cycling shoes. I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually.
