3rd day of recovery St George Half Marathon

I have been drinking lots of water. I dosed with a 1/8 teaspoon of sea salt, swallowed 3 endurolyte capsules and later took an ibuprofen to lessen the pain for a few hours. I had an hour Yoga lesson and was surprised that it didn't hurt to stretch as much. I feel weak and tight in several muscles. My hip flexors are atill very tight. Debbi introduced several motions I don't recall doing before and is so good for me.

It has been difficult to be very productive today. My head is stuffed up, I'm tired despite sleeping many more hours than I usually do. I talked to Vince about my massage and feeling sick afterwards. He told me the muscles build up toxins and miscles get locked. He uses a Marathon stick to work the muscles and release them. There is some pain and discomfort to training. I'm grateful for the occasional endorphin to help release the pain.
