Spinning class was not as challenging as running across slick roads and sidewalks. I had to slow down a bit to make sire I didn't slip and fall.
In Spinning class, coach Ryan had us use a fast cadence, about 90 rpm to maintain heart rate in zone two for 4 minutes. We would then turn up the resistance to simulate a hill climb and stay in Zone 3 for one minute intervals.
Since I had my VO2 tested again, it is hard to stay within these new zones. It is fun to see that I'm getting stronger, leaner and energized!
