Hammer Endurolyte to the rescue for leg pain

It's been a split from the routine. I've dropped to 200 ft altitude from 5,000 or 6000 feet in Utah; the air is sweet! My parents are both over 70 years old and have been struggling with leg pain. I gave my mom 2 Hammer Endurolyte capsules to see if it would help. It turns out it did! My mom experienced such dramatic pain relief that she started sleeping seated at her chair. My dad took a couple to see if it would help him too. He also felt much better. They were interested in what else I used so I mixed a batch of Hammer Recoverite for them to sample. They both noticed additional pain relief and boosted energy levels. Mom was so impressed after using up half a bottle, she placed an order for her own supply of product!

Run 10.4 Miles with Hammer Endurolyte & Gel

I have run two half marathons. Each time I finished the race but then had to deal with a sore calves, quadriceps and IT band. Each time, I noticed that different muscles were sore and my recovery took less time. Wednesday, I logged 4 seperate running sessions that totaled 13+ miles. I felt a some minor soreness in the sortorius muscles and gluts.

I ran on Saturday on the track in the park near my house. I set a nice easy pace and used my iPhone app Runkeeper to track the miles and pace. I ran at an average 10:41 min/mile pace for 1:51:49 with a total of 10.4 miles. I monitored my heart rate for some of the time and ran in zone 1 and 2. The purpose of the run was to learn how my body would react to using electrolyte supplementation and Hammer gel.

I swallowed 3 endurolyte capsules during my run, drank 5 ounces of water (I just didn't feel thirsty) and ingested 2 ounces of gel. After running 10 miles, I started to feel the hip flexors and IT band. I was surprised to feel those muscles get sore. During the run, I remember thinking that I wish I had a belt to secure the gel, electrolyte capsule bottle and my iPhone. My hands were a little full carrying all this stuff while I ran. I didn't cramp during the run but was ready to stop around mile 10. My goal was to run 13 miles. I performed 10 minutes of Yoga positions to stretch out. I went home and ate oranges, bananas and some bread. About 45 minutes after I stopped running, I felt tired and fell asleep for several hours.

I believe I need more strength training. I notice a lot of supporting muscles in the core and groin area that are showing weakness. I'm optimistic.

Endurance Swimming Its a kick!

Coach Ryan told me to keep my head down towards my chest to keep my legs and feet higher in the water. He also pointed out that my elbows need to come up out of the water higher so that my arm doesn't have to travel through water and meets less resistance. I found myself getting a cramp today near the end of my workout. I ran low on electrolytes again. I decided to go ahead and invest in Hammer endurolyte capsules. It is tough to know exactly what I need to take each day to keep up two or more exercise sessions. It has become easy to swim for an hour but I need to build up endurance for a much longer swim time.

I swam again during lunch break for 45 minutes. I swam continuosly without stopping. If I got winded, I flipped on to my back and continued to kick taking long slow breaths for 20 seconds and then turning back over to a free style stroke. My arms got sore from the exertion. It seems that is my weak point. Strength training makes a lot more sense now.
