I'm training for the Salt Lake Marathon. I'm also triathlon training. I talked to the instructor about a training plan last week.
He gave me a scaled back workout plan to gradually work up my training to peak on April. He advised me to make sure I'm consuming more calories. He suggested livestrong.com. It has a comprehensive food database of caloric content for food and helps you set a goal for how many calories you need to eat in a day.
I've struggled with mood swings and wondering how I'm really doing. Some days I feel great and sometimes not so great. I struggle to eat the recommended calories. I'm simply full and can't take another bite. I checked my weight and sure enough I'm maintaining weight and I have more energy. I'm getting more rest.
