I thought a lot about my New Years resolutions. My goals have been focused on training and preparing for an Ironman triathlon. It has already transformed many aspects of my daily life such as when I sleep, what I eat, drink and how I spend a good chunk of my free time. It has taxed my mental and financial reserves. It is a good deal of dreaming, wishing, sweating and pounding out the workouts consistently. It is hard for me to believe that I have already invested 2.5 months of training! It has been good news for all of us. The family is gathered around in united purpose to work out together andaybe I can get the kids to start running races.
I resolve to find ways to involve my family in my athletic endeavors.
